Fresca is the end product of an adventure between two best friends in Italy. Fresca - which means fresh in Italian - was the name given to the idea in its infancy. We imagined a business that would incorporate elements of beauty, simplicity and culture – traits very much embodied by the coast of Cinque Terre.

The gallery itself was a more recent idea - created to help the artists we know and love and the artists we've met along
the way. We also wanted the art at Fresca Gallery to be more than just a commodity, so we are giving the
patrons and artists the opportunity to donate 10% of the selling price to the charities of their choice.

 Valerie King, Owner, Fresca Gallery + Co-Founder, FRESCA
One part of the adventurous twosome behind the FRESCA concept, Valerie can be found traveling the coast of New England on spontaneous adventures, engrossed in a good book, or sharing a bottle of wine and a laugh-filled dinner with friends all over the world. She is in charge of scouting talent and managing the artists and charities for the gallery.

 Anne Zimmerman, Creative Advisor, Fresca Gallery + Co-Founder, FRESCA
Anne is part two of the Italian adventure girls and the co-creator of FRESCA. The quintessential salt water girl, Anne can be found sailing the atlantic ocean, sharing a bottle of wine with friends, or baking the most incredible apple pies. Anne is the stylistic advisor for Fresca Gallery.

Sara King, Business Advisor, Fresca Gallery
While Sara was not one of the founding members of the FRESCA concept, she is the down-to-earth business force of Fresca Gallery (and Valerie's sister). When not taking control of the gallery's financial side, Sara can be found traveling the country, cooking for elaborate parties, and in her spare time, managing several businesses. Sara is both the CFO and business advisor for Fresca Gallery.
